Living a Great Adventure in the Mundane

Hey there!  Hope you're having a great day and that this post puts some more joy into it!

Do you ever have a day where you feel kinda like a hamster in a hamster wheel?  Like, "here we go into another day of the same routine"?  Well, routine truly is a good thing when wielded wisely, but perspective is where the key to an adventure filled life is held. (An adventure filled life even within the daily routine!)  Example:  Washing a car might not be the most fun thing in the world, but if that's what you focus on, then it definitely will not be fun.  But, if you choose to change your perspective and focus on what a gift it is to own a car and how it's important to be a good steward of what God has given AND maybe have a karaoke party with yourself and the hose  - you'll be in a better frame of mind and have a good time! Lol! #truth

That's just an example, but for reals people, let's live with Kingdom perspective in the mundane!  The same can be applied to everyday life in SO many ways!  When you live life with Christ, everyday "mundane" things are redeemable for ETERNITY!  There's so many people throughout your day that you can impact with God's love!  There's so many moments to obey His promptings which reaps incredible blessings!  There's so many opportunities to live out His commandments and character qualities which lays up treasures in heaven and there's so many hours in a day to think on truth and live out that mindset!  Those facts alone should blast away the "routine blues"!!!!! lol!   I want to share some lyrics to a song by Steven Curtis Chapman that helps encourage me to live with anticipation of what God is doing this very minute, to get excited about the unknown and to embrace the present as the greatest adventure that it truly is!  Let's "saddle up our horses, we've got a trail to blaze!"  (My favorite version is from his album Re:creation "The Great Adventure"!)
