The Struggle is Real

Hey there everyone!
Hope you are having a great week and hope this blog post is a blessing to you!

"The struggle is real." That phrase seems to be pretty popular these days, either said or used as a hashtag. Lol. I use it myself pretty often for more petty issues - as a funny saying, probably as most people do. For example: I can't really say no to cupcakes #thestruggleisreal. Lol!  That's obviously not a very serious struggle but the phrase got me to thinking that it is true that this life has struggles and struggles are truly real. There's all sorts of them and there are different levels that we experience them on, so to speak.  There's car problems, financial struggles, relationship dynamics, all sorts of life decisions, bad habits, home repairs, waiting on God's timing and direction for your heart's desires, aspects of job/business, health, enemies, schedule and time management and the list can go on.  There can be real struggles within those categories and more for sure, but there's a very important additional fact and it's this...

When the struggle is real - the reality of God's Sovereignty is more real and when His Sovereignty is claimed - the struggle becomes covered by peace in the light of His glory and grace!

It's a fact that is easy to forget.  It shouldn't be, but we can easily get wrapped up in mind, will and emotions over the struggle and our "control" and very much neglect bringing the struggle to the feet of the ALL SOVEREIGN GOD with Whom NOTHING is out of His control!  Just think if you had a extremely valuable watch that was broke and you lived in the same apartment complex as a Master watch repairer, but you were so worked up with dispair over it being broke, you totally didn't think to take it to him.  That's kind of a weak comparison, but it's similar to that with any of our struggles!  If you have believed on Jesus as your Savior (His sacrifice for you on the cross) from sin's death penalty - you have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling alive in you! (that's even closer than in the "same apartment complex"! ;)  And He is EVER READY to guide you, counsel you, give you peace that passes understanding, hold you, reveal truth to you, give you words to speak, give you vision in the waiting, lead you to opportunities, open up doors you didn't know exsisted and the list goes on!  He is a MASTER at life and handling struggles.  And just as a side note, He knows when taking the situation completely away would be best or if giving you peace in helping you navigate through a situation is best.  Either way - His way is SOVEREIGN, but if you don't recognize and embrace and worship Him for that fact - you won't experience the freedom that it brings - the reality of how small our struggle is in mighty hands of an ALL powerful God!

Genesis 1:1-4
1 "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.
2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
3 And God said, Let there be light: and there was light.
4 And God saw the lightthat it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness."

(I love these couple verses, because it's the very first words listed in the Bible and set the stage for all of life!  HE IS LIFE!  HE IS the CREATOR!  He brought everything into exsistence - hence HIS SOVEREIGNTY!)

Psalm 18:3-35 & 46
30 "As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
32 It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.
33 He maketh my feet like hindsfeet, and setteth me upon my high places.
34 He teacheth my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
35 Thou hast also given me the shield of thy salvation: and thy right handhath holden me up, and thy gentleness hath made me great.
36 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
46 The LORD liveth; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted."

(I smiled while reading the chapter of Psalm 18 - you should read the whole chapter!  It's so full of the passionate love the Father has for us!!!!!  Made my heart feel so treasured and protected by reading it!)

Isaiah 40:25-31
25 "To whom then will ye liken me, or shall I be equalsaith the Holy One.
26 Lift up your eyes on high, and behold who hath created these things, that bringeth out their host by number: he calleth them all by names by the greatness of his might, for that he is strong in power; not one faileth.
27 Why sayest thou, O Jacob, and speakest, O Israel, My way is hid from the LORD, and my judgment is passed over from my God?
28 Hast thou not known? hast thou not heardthat the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earthfainteth not, neither is wearythere is no searching of his understanding.
29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.
30 Even the youths shall faint and be weary, and the young men shall utterly fall:
31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be wearyand they shall walk, and not faint."

(How do we doubt that God is our stay and strength through struggles?! Wow.  It's shameful really.  HE IS SO POWERFUL AND LOVING!!!! Wowzers just Wowzers!  I love Him!)

Blessings to you!
I'm cheering you on in life and praying right now for you to experience God's peace in every struggle situation!
