As the Deer

"As the deer pantheth after the water brooks,

so panteth my soul after Thee, O God!"

Happy Thursday Everyone!

Whew! I don't know about you - but this week flew by for me!  Hope your week has been great!

You know - God is just so amazing!  I just marvel at His goodness!  His greatness is unsearchable and yet so personal to us!  I was just so humbled this week at how much He loves to help me and how much I need Him!  I want to desire Him more - I want to pursue His heart more fervently - I want to be so hungry and thirsty for righteousness that it drives me to His side always!  But no amount of striving on my own brings that to pass!  In the sweetness of God's design and in His rich and lavish grace and power - He grants and enpowers so strongly the desire to desire Him!  He knows we need Him even to be able to love Him, and desire Him - because true love and desire are of Him!!!  It just blows my mind how passionate God is about each of our lives and how He'll move heaven and earth to grant the longings of our heart - when those longings are His desires!

As the deer panteth for the water So my soul longeth after Thee

To You alone may my spirit yield

May you long to worship Him today and as you give Him that longing, may you see Him multiply and perfect it through His incredible Spirit!
