New

I can't believe it's already the end of January in this new year 2020!!!  Time flies like an arrow and fruit flies like a banana! Lol!  (A friend told me that once and I've thought it was funny and have used it ever since! Lol!)

"New" - don't you just love things that are new?  A fresh new pair of shoes, a new song that's inspiring, a new coffee drink that makes your taste buds sing?  A new friend, a new perspective, a new belonging, a new idea on how to bless those you love etc. etc. etc.  Aren't all of those fun new things?!  I also love when something is made new out of something that has already existed for awhile! Like an antique piece incorporated into decor in a new way or like a beautiful piece of new furniture made from lovely aged wood. 

Well, ya know, God is in the business of making things new!  Sometimes He makes it brand new and sometimes He uses something that was and skillfully re-fashions it into something beautifully new!  He's doing that for you constantly - do you notice it?  His Word promises that "He hath made everything beautiful in it's time!" and that "His mercies are NEW e.v.e.r.y. morning - GREAT is His faithfulness!"  Wowzers.  The start of each day holds a treasure load of NEW mercies for you and He's graciously weaved your days before (failures and victories) to have a huge role in the beauty of the one ahead!  When you're in the will of God - He redeems your life details so incredibly for His glory!  Don't overlook how He fashions your past as a stunning statement piece in your present and future!
