Be a Warrior not a Worrier

Hello there!  Happy day of life to you!  Isn't it great to be alive?!!!!!

Worries.  Do you have them?  Yeah, me too!  Actually, as I type out this blog, there's several worries and anxieties on my heart and mind, but I have a choice to make regarding them. I can let them sit heavy on me and cloud this moment like a dark storm cloud going in front of the sun OR I can choose to lift my eyes to the S-O-N (Jesus) and lay my burdens at His feet. The wise choice is obvious.  Now for me to choose it!

"Cast thy burden upon the Lord, and he shall sustain thee:
 he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved." - Psalm 55:22

Your shoulders, my friend, were NOT meant to carry the burden of worry.
-Don't be too proud to give it over to Jesus. (ALL OF IT!)
-Don't be too stubborn to surrender.
-Don't be too "comfy" in your worry, to choose to be free!

We weren't meant to carry worry as a burden, BUT we were meant to carry the Armor of God!
Worry weakens. (I don't know about you, but I don't want to be weak.)  The Armor of God, on the other hand - strengthens! Worry not surrendered is ground that satan has a "hay day" with.  Put on the armor of righteousness and stand your ground as a Kingdom Warrior - not shaken and giving NO way to the darkness!

"Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;" - Ephesians 6:11-18

"Be careful (anxious) for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:-7

The choice you make regarding worry doesn't even just affect you and this moment, but generations to come and the future (on earth and in heaven)!!!!!!!!!  Let's choose wisely and for the glory of the One Who holds this moment and every tomorrow!!!!!!!

Cheering you on fellow Warriors!
