{Be Brave}

"Be Brave".  I love the word "bravery"- it's such a rich word.  It tastes good in my mouth like a delicious piece of chocolate - lol!  But seriously, I do love it.  It means "courageous behavior or character"!  Read that definition again would ya?  Wowzers - it's so great! And take a look at the words synonymous to it! *insert a huge smile here because reading these made me pumped to keep typing this post*

{courage, courageousness, daring, daringness, dauntlessness, fearlessness, gallantry, greatheartedness, gutsiness, hardihood, heartheroism, intrepidness, moxie, nerve, prowessstoutness, valor, virtue}

It's so great that being brave and encouraging others to be brave too seems pretty popular these days - it's a great character quality to live out if it's applied to the right things and situations! ;)

All that to say, I just wanted for this post, to share a little reminder of where the truest of bravery comes from!  It comes from the One Who IS ALL righteous character Himself - God.  It feels good when someone encourages you to be brave right?  Especially when it's from someone who cares for you and loves you right?!  Well, the Bible, God's love letter, is full of encouragement from His heart to yours in the area of bravery!  AND He doesn't just tell you to be brave - He tells you how to be and shows us how too!  AND He cares for and loves you the MOST!

Check this out - and there's more where this came from!!!! ;)

" Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that hope in the Lord."
~Psalm 31:24~

"Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high [places]. Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness; And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace; Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints; -Ephesians 6:10-18
Know the Giver of bravery and be brave
dear one!  (And live out bravery for His
glory!)
Cheering you on!
