The Greatest Hero, Champion, King, Giver, Victor that EVER was and IS!

He could have called 10,000 angels to save Him from this death, but He chose it as His destiny - because of His love for YOU!

He died arms open wide.
(because you were on His mind and He couldn't bear the thought of you having to suffer the eternal punishment of sin.)

He didn't back down in the face
of gruesome death.
{His love for you was greater - so much greater than that.}

The perfect Son of God lived to sacrificially die -to win your heart.
(He gave up everything - for you.)

As the weight of all the sin of all time was placed on His innocency - He cried out in the pain, and even though He had the power to deliver Himself from it all - He choose to stay on that cross tree
for you and me.
(There has never been and never will be any greater sacrifice.)

"It. Is. Finished." -three words that, in all of time,  would never be spoken with more importance than at that moment.
{Those three words meant the perfect Son of God had done it. He had sealed each of our pardon with His blood.  He was victorious over sin and made victory free for the claiming to anyone that will simply believe that He did what brought Him to saying, "it is finished".  Those three words meant everyone's penalty for sin had been paid and eternal salvation from sin was a gift for the taking to anyone who will receive it.}

The body of the Son of God, Who became flesh and died, was laid in a grave/tomb - the heartbreaking reality of His fate sank in and yet...
death could NOT hold Him!!! 3 days later up from the grave He arose - another GLORIOUS victory - the true reality that HE IS LORD sealed in LIFE!  He is risen from the dead and He is LORD!
I believe! - do you?!
(To borrow some powerful words from the song "In Christ Alone", "And as He stands in victory, sin's curse has lost it's grip on me - for I am His and He is mine, bought with the precious blood of Christ!  No power of hell, no scheme of man, can ever pluck me from His hand.  Till He returns or calls me home, here in the power of Christ I stand!")

Bask in this truth.  You have a HERO and His name is Jesus.  YOU are beloved to the King of Kings!  Your eternal life is what His death and resurrection was all about! Celebrate and live ever grateful dear one!

Have a blessed Easter!
