Just Wait and See
"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end. Then shall ye call upon Me, and ye shall go and pray unto Me,
and I will hearken unto you. And ye shall seek Me, and find me,
when ye shall search for Me with all your heart!"

As this new year is off and running, (I can't believe that it's half-way through January already!) I've been thinking about what this year holds. A couple of friends have asked, "What does your year look like?" "Are you going on any mission trips this year?" "Any potential guy in your life?" etc. Lol! All really good questions - questions that make me smile and feel loved! I'm grateful for friends that care about my life details!!!! I thought I would "answer" those questions for this blog post, because I'm just so blessed by two "pictures" that God gave me for this year!
One "picture" being that this year is a blank canvas! I do love a good blank canvas, I must say, because of the masterpiece it's about to become! It's as though God is holding some pretty amazing paints and is poised with a perfect brush ready to paint each stroke in His perfect timing and I'm standing here in excitement saying, "what are you going to paint?!!!!" I see Him smiling mischievously and saying, "Just wait and see!". Grin.
The second "picture" of this year being the one in my little sketch above. I picture this year as just that - God with His strong and gentle hands over my eyes guiding me along and me saying, "Where are we going this year? What are we going to be doing this year?!" Lol! I sense His whole face lighting up in a smile behind me and hear His voice (my favorite of all voices I might add ;) saying, "Just wait and see!" with each step that He leads me!
It's an exciting place to be friends! Are you there in a place where you're waiting to see what God is doing, or where He's leading, or what His hand has for you in all sorts of situations?! It truly is exciting when you focus on the ONE WHO has the answers and knows just the most perfect moment to answer, reveal, guide, direct, and surprise you instead of being discouraged in times of the unknown!!!! TRUST HIS HEART!!! It's an exciting thing when a LIMITLESS, ALL POWERFUL, INFINITELY LOVING, GRACIOUS, PERFECT GOD says, "Just wait and see!". So wait with excitement friends - He does all things SO VERY WELL!!!!!!!!
"Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for Me?!" - Jeremiah 32:27
"Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fulness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasure for evermore!" - Psalm 16:11
