A Tree by the Water

"And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper."

-Psalm 1:3-

Hi there!  Hope you're having a great week!

I've been thinking about standing tall and strong in truth and being unshakable and unmoveable in this day and age where morals, standards, laws etc. are becoming more and more undefined, undermined and even despised.  I want to stand for truth because of the truth that is in me - the Holy Spirit! Two major keys in standing strong are: 1) Knowing that you have the HOLY SPIRIT OF ALL TRUTH LIVING IN YOU and recognizing the power that is in you because of that awesome fact!!!!!!!! and 2) DAILY living by the living water with your roots sunk deep and drinking from it's supernatural source of strength and wisdom!!!!  

Soak in these verses friends!!  I've read them before, but saw them in a different light when I focused on the water being Christ - THE LIVING WATER!!!

Jeremiah 17: 5-8   5)Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited. Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."

Psalm 1 "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.2 But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.6 For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

It's so important in this day and age to put your trust in and act on what is unshakable and live with kingdom vision - eternity in full view!!!!

I'm excited to be a tree planted by the living water along with all of you!!!!  Let's "line up" by the "river" and stand firm for what is true and right and of God!!!!   Cheering you on as you do!!!
