"Eye Hath Not Seen"

Hi there friends!  I'm grateful to be writing this and grateful that you're reading it! :)  Hope today's post is a big blessing to you!

I've read the verse in the photo above many times, but it continues to bless me more and more!  Isn't that neato how God designed His Word to be!  His Word truly is alive - because He IS the Word!!!!!

I needed a faith "boost" of late and so I thought maybe you could use one too! ;) A book that has blessed and encouraged me sooooo much is "Faith Is" by Pamela Reeve.  (I posted quotes from her book in a post last year - but here are some more that are amazing!)  Enjoy!!! :)

~Faith is...~

"Ceasing to worry, leaving the future to the God Who controls the future."

"...resting in His love, His presence, His provision."

"Doing the right thing regardless of the consequences, knowing God will turn the ultimate effect to good."

"Remembering that in the kingdom of God EVERYTHING is based on promise and not feeling."

"Confidence in God's faithfulness to me in an uncertain world, on an uncharted course, toward an unknown future."

"Developed through hardship, disappointment, disillusionment, conflict, frustration, failure, loss - not through stained glass or sweet religious props."

"Not related to my believing hard enough, not my emotional exhilaration or flatness, but rests on what God guarantees in His Word."

"Not faith in faith itself, but faith in the facts of Scripture, fact of Christ's death, fact of His resurrection."

"Not an idea that God is somehow trustworthy, but confidence in Him based on His proof of utter trustworthiness in dying for me."

"Not a vague hope of a happy heareafter, but an assurance of heaven based on my trust in Christ's death as payment for my sins."

"Refusing to feel guilty over past confessed sins, when God, the Judge, has sovereignly declared me pardoned."

"Letting go of that which God is asking me for."

"Ceasing from forever trying to make myself good enough for God and letting Jesus really be my Savior."

"We live by faith, not by sight"
~ 2 Corinthians 5:7 ~

"Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our faith, Who for the joy set before Him, endured the cross, scorning it's shame, and is sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
~Hebrews 12:2~

Hope this boosted your faith journey today!!!!  Blessings to you friends!  May you have deep abiding joy in the work that God is doing in you and through you because of  your faith and trust in Him!  Every single part of your faith journey is worth it!!!! :)
