Sweet Morsels

"My meditation of Him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord!"

Hi there Amazing people!  Hope you're having a great week!

Don't those sweet morsels look yummy ^^^^ ?? :)

They are! ;) Lol! I had to have a couple as I set up the pic! Haha! These little chocolate yummies are unfortunately just a short lived goodness though -

but God's Word, on the other hand, is quite the lasting sweetness!  (Like endless sweet morsels that are INCREDIBLY good for you!) :) Pretty amazing right?!

I have underlined or highlighted verses in my Bible that are especially "sweet" to me and sometimes it's  just so satisfying to flip through the Bible and savor those verses and God's promises!  I know it's such a simple thing, but it's so good to do! :). I've listed some verses that are very sweet and hope they "hit the spot" for your sweet tooth today! ;)

"...I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations." 

 (Isaiah 60:15)

"For thou art great, and doest wondrous things: thou art God alone."

 (Psalms 86:10)

"So shall they fear the name of the Lord from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the Lord shall lift up a standard against him." (Isaiah 59:19)

"For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. O Lord of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee." (Psalms 84:11, 12)

"He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty."(Psalms 91:1)

"For he satisfieth the longing soul, and filleth the hungry soul with goodness." (Psalms 107:9)

"Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite. The Lord taketh pleasure in them that fear him, in those that hope in his mercy." (Psalms 147:5, 11)
