Go Tell It on the Mountain!

"But these are written, that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing ye might have life through his name!!!"
(John 20:31)

Hey Everyone! Happy Christmas time!!!!!
I just absolutely love this time of the year!!!!

Do you enjoy Christmas songs? I sure hope so! Lol! I do! It's funny though,
sometimes I'm so used to singing Christmas songs year after year that the message of song becomes just words. Do you get what I mean? It's like I sing the song and forget just how powerful the message it's portraying really, truly is!! I was listening to a great rendition of "Go Tell It on the Mountain" and thought to myself -"ya know this song is awesome!". Lol! It REALLY is!!! :) So, for this post I just wanted to type out the lyrics to it and share a simple thought that God gave regarding living it out that really has blessed me this Christmas season!

Go, tell it on the mountain,
 Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain,
That Jesus Christ is born.

While shepherds kept their watching
Over silent flocks by night
Behold throughout the heavens
There shone a holy light.

Refrain

The shepherds feared and trembled,
When lo! above the earth,
Rang out the angels chorus
That hailed the Savior’s birth.

Refrain

Down in a lowly manger
The humble Christ was born
And God sent us salvation
That blessèd Christmas morn.

Go, tell it on the mountain,
 Over the hills and everywhere
Go, tell it on the mountain,
That Jesus Christ is born.

Listening to this song (especially the chorus) and thinking about the lyrics, made me think of a couple in love! Lol! Why you ask? Well, because I know that when couples are in love-they can shout it from the mountain tops!!!!!! They love talking about each other  and sharing about the love that they share!
WELL, ALL THE MORE SHOULD I WANT TO SHOUT FROM THE MOUNTAIN TOPS AND EVERYWHERE of MY BELOVED SAVIOR'S LOVE!!! I'm in a covenant with The Lord Jesus Christ! I should tell others of my love for Him-His love for me and how He was born and died for me to LIVE eternally! THIS IS THE MOST INCREDIBLE LOVE EVER TO SHARE! So "go tell it on the mountain (friends), over the hills and everywhere that Jesus Christ is born!"

John 1:14 - And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

A HUGE CHRISTMAS HUG TO ALL OF YOU! May you be more blessed this Christmas than ever before!!!! You are loved, cherished, blessed and claimed-soak in your Savior's matchless love and tell the world about it!
~Bri :)
