Excited to Give!

Is your shopping in full swing?! lol! 

 

 

I love giving gifts!  I have so much fun shopping, with someone that I love in mind, and picking out something for them that I know they'll really like!  It makes me happy wrapping it up to surprise them with on Christmas day!  And it's exciting to watch them open it up and appreciate the thought, money and love that went into it - for them personally!

It's exciting to give! The love of giving gifts and the excitement of watching the receiver open them comes from God!  He's that way! :O) He is the Giver of everything good!  His gifts are wonderful, personal and powerful!  His gifts come in all different shapes and sizes (lol!) what I mean is - He gives gifts of all kinds!  He gives in the material and the eternal!  I'm so grateful that He specializes in both and that He knows each one of us perfectly! 

 

I was thinking about His eternal gifts yesterday and how truly powerful they are!  Material things wear out and run out, but His eternal gifts NEVER do!  Wouldn't it be awesome if your favorite sweater never wore out or if the gift card to your favorite store never ran out?! lol!  Well, God's righteousness should be your favorite thing to "put on" and His truth should be your favorite "storehouse" in life! ;o)  There is always more of His righteousness and always more of His truth and there is always more of His blessings to be claimed, lived out and stored up in heaven for eternity!!!  Isn't that exciting?!!!!! 

God is so excited to give them to you!  It is His great pleasure to do so!  He loves when you receive and "unwrap" (search out and claim) His eternal gifts!  He loves to see you putting His gifts of righteousness and truth to use and living out the character of Christ!  And with every gift that you claim and live out, more gifts of eternal value are stored up for you heaven!!!!!!  Don't take my word for it - take the King's Word on it!  That's where I get it from! :O)

"Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning!" ~James 1:17
