Pursue Always

"Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart,
and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind;
and love thy neighbor as thyself!...This do and thou shalt live!"
~Luke 10:27 & 28b~

Hey Everyone!
I'm smiling as I type out this post!  I'm blessed by God's truth and hope that you are too!

Pursue always.  Those two words put together mean alot to me!  God encourages me by bringing them to mind just when I need to hear them and just when He knows I need to act on them!  Love requires a serious pursuit and when that pursuit is carried out - life is experienced sooooo abundantly!  That's how God designed it to be!! :O)

My sister, Erika, that I love so much and the amazing man that she married (Britton) have been such a shining example to me of the phrase "Pursue Always"!  (Hence the photo above of the incredble couple themselves!!!)  ;O) :O)  I've watched and have been so blessed by their wise pursuit of each other from the very beginning of their relationship until now!  I've seen how, with each day that goes by, that loving pursuit only grows more gloriously!  The source of that glory is, hands down, that their pursuit of each other always overflows from each of them pursuing God and His love!

To pursue someone - is to know what they love and act on that, in love! :O)  To have the most impacting love towards those you love - is to first, know what God loves and love Him!!!! :O)  It's just the neatest thing how God, in His grand design, made life to be! When you pursue Him, He gives you life more abundantly to pursue the ones He's given you to love!  (Now that's what I call sweeet action!!!! lol!!!) It's so true!  Below are some verses that God had stand out to me for this post! :O)  The Bible is FULL of what God loves and what glorious blessings He gives to those who choose to pursue Him!  May we do just that!!!

"...To love the Lord thy God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments, that thou mayest live and multiply:  and the Lord thy God shall bless thee in the land whither thou goest to possess it!"
~Deut. 30:16~

"...Therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live! ...that thou mayest love the Lord thy God, and that thou mayest obey His voice and that thou mayest cleave unto Him:  for He is thy life and the length of thy days...!"
~Deut. 30:19b&20a~

"My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:  For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.  Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:  So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.  Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths!"
~Proverbs 3:2-6~

"Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the Lord.
Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently.
O that my ways were directed to keep thy statutes!
Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all thy commandments.
I will praise thee with uprightness of heart, when I shall have learned thy righteous judgments.
I will keep thy statutes: O forsake me not utterly.
Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word.
With my whole heart have I sought thee: O let me not wander from thy commandments.
Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.
Blessed art thou, O Lord: teach me thy statutes.
With my lips have I declared all the judgments of thy mouth.
I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, as much as in all riches.
I will meditate in thy precepts, and have respect unto thy ways.
I will delight myself in thy statutes: I will not forget thy word.
Deal bountifully with thy servant, that I may live, and keep thy word.    Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law!"
~Psalm 119:1-18~
