"Here - let me take that!"

"Come unto Me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden,
and I will give you rest!" ~Matt. 11:28

Happy New Day of Adventure to you!
Every day sure has it's fill of new happenings - hope yours brings you joy this week!

"Here, let me take that!" Isn't that such a great phrase for your ears to hear, especially when you're carrying something quite heavy?!  Ever try carrying a heavy load of something and maybe your arms start to ache or your back starts to dis-own you (lol!) and then you hear that awesome phrase spoken by a family member, a friend or even a complete stranger?! What a blessing of relief you get as they act on their words by taking some of your burden right?!  :O)

"Why this scenario?" (you might be thinking)  Well, the reason for it is that I've had some things heavy on my heart and mind of late.   I also have a tendency to over-think things and thoughts sure can get heavy at times!  lol...heh.  So, as I was thinking recently, getting discouraged and talking to God about it, all of a sudden I just totally sensed Him gently say, "Here - let me take that."  I just stopped and soaked that in.  It was so simple and yet so wonderful!  Just five words, but they were filled with so much love and were spoken by the One Most Powerful and Capable of acting on them!  What a blessing of relief came as I handed it over to Him!  He can't stand to see me burdened with something I shouldn't be and He loves to, in His infinite strength, take those burdens and get rid of them for me!  What glory!!!!!!

Do you have somethings heavy on your heart or mind?  Are you getting worn out from trying to hold it?  Give it to God!  He's always there - always ready to take it, if you'll let Him!  He's the strongest of the strong and the most ablest of the able and eager to relieve what is weighing you down!  He doesn't just do it to be polite - He does it because He loves you so much and He is passionate about acting on that love!  Here's some verses that confirm that! :O)

"Casting all your care upon Him;
for He careth for you!"
~1 Peter 5:7~

"And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding,
shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus!"
~Philippians 4:7~

"Their Redeemer is strong;  the Lord of hosts is His name:
He shall throughly plead their cause, that He may give rest to the land..."
~Jeremiah 50:34~

"And He said, My presence shall go with thee,
and I will give thee rest!"
~Exodus 33:14~

May you let your burdens and heavy loads be totally taken care as you give them up to the most caring God Who says to you, "Here, let me take that!"
With a smile,
~Bri
