A Note of Truth

 "Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest,

whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely,

whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise,

think on these things!" ~Phil.4:8

Ever get a note left for you on your refrigerator?  A little note of truth from someone you love to encourage your day?  It's amazing what energy a little note of truth can bring!  So, for this post - I simply wanted to leave a little note of truth on your "refrigerator"!  ;o)  I hope this poem encourages you, brightens your day and fills you with energy from the truth that it proclaims!!!

Sin pales at the sight of purity in Christ!

And runs to flight as sins are confessed and brought to light!

If the resolve is proven strong and true -

the escape of the sin is captured and brought to -

The King of Kings, the Chief Supreme,

the Lord of absolutely everything!

And while sin tried to get away and hide out for another day,

to strike and bite and sneak and devour;

In that same hour that it was confessed true-

the Lord of all did subdue.

And brought His justice down on sin and

poured His mercy deep within -

the one with whom His Spirit dwells,

the one He loves so very well,

YOU!!!!!!

 

"Who shall ascend into the hill of the Lord? or who shall stand in His holy place?

He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto

vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.  He shall receive the blessing from the Lord, and

righteousness from the God of His salvation!  This is the generation of them that seek Him,

that seek Thy face, O Jacob. Selah!"
