Motivation and Full Persuasion!

"And being fully persuaded that, what He had promised, He was able also to perform!"
~Romans 4:21~
Hey Friends!
I'm excited to share this post!  God's truth is more than awesome and I hope His awesome truth impacts your day today! :O)
Can you imagine... that you are the runner in the picture above?  You're poised.  You're ready.  You try to slow your breathing as the nerves set in.  Your muscles twich in tense eagerness to do what you came to do.  You're "all ears" as it's just seconds before the shot is heard announcing, with a "bang" the start of a race that will make history.  You're part of that history!  You whisper that thought out loud as if to solidify the fact, "I'm living history!".  Then the shot echos through the stadium urging the runners to take off and you do just that!  Every ounce of your being is running down the lane of history!  As the race goes on, your body tires and you're losing ground.  A feeling of despair starts to sink in and then you hear it - a roar.  A roar like none other!  It shakes your very core!  It's surrounding you as you realize that practically the whole stadium is focused on you and with all their energy they are shouting and cheering you on!  That's all your body needed. The adrenaline surges through seemingly every single vein of your being.  It's as if you fly.  You fly past the competitors and with arms stretched out wide in excitement, you cross the finish line with the ribbon breaking across your body announcing your victory!  Everything's a whirl of incredibleness and joy like none other and yet in the midst of it all your heart and mind just keep re-playing what gave you the strength to "come through".  It was the roar of countless people cheering with all their being - just for you!

Talk about motivation!!!! That would sure do it - I'd say!!!  I experienced motivation today!  Not in the same exact way as in the instance above but, ya know, it stirred my heart strongly and the heart is a muscle so it counts!!!! ;o) LOL!!!
My motivation came from reading a section of verses from the Bible in Romans!  You gotta check this out! :O)

"He (Abraham) staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief;

 but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;
And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.
And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.
Now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;
But for us also, to whom it shall be imputed, if we believe on him that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead.  Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification."
(Isn't that incredibly motivating?! I want to live being "fully persuaded of God's amazing character!!!!!)
{And then - God confirms ^ the above by going on to list a HUGE promise - here it is!}
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:
By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand,
and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.
 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;
 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:
 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
 For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly!"
(Romans 4:20-25 & 5:1-6)
At this point, (after reading the above) I'm experiencing the "cheers" of those of faith that have lived before me and of those that are "running" with me right now!!! (like YOU!)  Most of all, I feel the Holy Spirit - the Motivator of all Motivators cheering for me and giving me the strength I need so very much!!!!  With God, fears are stilled and fruitless strivings cease!!! With God, it's ALWAYS a major "come through" in every aspect of this historical life race and victory is - Who - He - is!!!!!!
"Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us, Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God!!!" ~Hebrews 12:1-2
That's my prayer and *cheer* for you, my fellow faith runners!!!!  Blessings to each one of you as you and God make history - together!!!!!
:O)
